Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Hub Cars Tunisia's website, car rentals, private transfers, and tour services across Tunisia. By booking with us — as a registered member or as a guest — you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you are booking on behalf of others, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for every member of your party.

2. Eligibility & driver requirements

To rent a self-drive vehicle you must meet the following requirements at the time of pickup:

• Be at least 21 years old, with a driving licence held for a minimum of one year.
• Present a valid national ID or passport matching the booking name.
• Provide a valid driving licence; international visitors should carry an International Driving Permit alongside their home licence.
• Each additional driver must be registered on the contract and meet the same requirements.

3. Bookings & confirmation

Submitting a booking creates a request, not a guarantee. Every booking is reviewed by our team and is confirmed by email once availability is verified — typically within minutes. "Sur commande" vehicles may take up to 24 hours to confirm.

You are not charged until your booking is confirmed. Prices are shown in Tunisian Dinar (TND) and include applicable taxes and fees unless stated otherwise.

4. Payment & deposit

You may pay at pickup (cash or card) or by bank transfer where offered. For self-drive rentals a refundable security deposit is pre-authorised on your card at pickup and released within seven business days after the vehicle is returned undamaged.

Tolls, fuel beyond the agreed policy, fines, and traffic penalties incurred during the rental period are your responsibility.

5. Use of the vehicle

During your rental you agree not to:

• Drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that impairs driving.
• Use the vehicle for racing, towing, subletting, or any unlawful purpose.
• Take the vehicle outside Tunisia without prior written authorisation.
• Allow any unregistered person to drive the vehicle.

6. Insurance & liability

All rentals include mandatory third-party liability cover. Optional full coverage reduces or removes your excess on eligible damage. Coverage does not extend to negligence, prohibited use, or unregistered drivers.

Hub Cars Tunisia is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed flights or connections, except where required by Tunisian law.

7. Cancellation & changes

Cancellations and amendments are governed by our Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before the start of your booking.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Tunisia. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tunis. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version in effect at the time of your booking applies.
