Born in Tunis
Two friends with a tired Audi A4 and a shared frustration: car rental in Tunisia felt transactional and joyless. We built Hub Cars Tunisia around one idea — make every drive feel like a guest experience.
The Hub Cars Tunisia story
A Tunisian-owned house of mobility — premium vehicles, private transfers, and small-group desert expeditions. Built by hospitality people for travellers who want more than a rental counter.

Founded in
Tunis, 2017 — and still local.
Our story
From a borrowed sedan to a 50-strong fleet — a chronology of the decisions that shaped Hub Cars Tunisia.
2017
Two friends with a tired Audi A4 and a shared frustration: car rental in Tunisia felt transactional and joyless. We built Hub Cars Tunisia around one idea — make every drive feel like a guest experience.
2019
We launched private transfers between Tunis-Carthage and the Hammamet hotels. Flight-tracking, English-speaking drivers, fixed fares — the trio that became our signature.
2021
Partnering with Berber crews in Douz, we opened guided desert expeditions — small groups, hand-built itineraries, real overnight camps. The 3-Day Sahara Expedition is still our most-loved trip.
2024
We crossed 50 vehicles across six branches — Tunis, Sousse, Hammamet, Djerba, Sfax, Bizerte. Every car is inspected before every rental, with full insurance baked in by default.
2026
500+ travellers a year, a 4.9 rating, and a quiet commitment to grow without losing the small-house feel. We answer every email in under two hours — promised.

My flight landed two hours late and the driver was still waiting at arrivals with the board. No extra charge, no fuss — he just took the bags and asked if I wanted the air conditioning colder.

We booked the Tiguan for a week in Hammamet. It was spotless, the deposit came back three days after we returned it, and nobody tried to sell us insurance we had already paid for.
The Sahara overnight was the part of the trip my kids still talk about. Our guide spoke to them the whole way, not just to us, and he knew exactly when to stop for photographs.
Pickup in Sidi Bou Saïd was easy to arrange and the price online was the price I paid. The car was a little older than the photo suggested, but it drove perfectly for the four days we had it.
